A New Face in the Mirror

A New Face in the Mirror

The things that you are passionate about have a tendency to change you if you allow them to.

follow-your-passionThe desire to turn your passion to build a booming online business is like a marriage of sorts. It will bring you right up against all the places in you that are small, afraid, limited and unconsciously coming from a scarcity mindset.  You will find yourself wanting to run away, go into hiding, question your mission and busy yourself with silly distractions that feel good but are aimless.

You will be tempted to cave in to the allure of the next bright shiny program, wishing it would give you the secret ticket to six-figure success overnight and rescue you from having to do the challenging inner work.

If you stay the course, the entrepreneurial journey is its own adventure of becoming.  Walk it long enough and you will burn through your head trash and your many limiting beliefs and grow into a wise and powerful woman. You will become indistinguishable to your former self in the most extraordinary ways.  You will become the brilliant leader of your own calling and destiny. You will be the one who can deliver your successful work out into the world in the form of a booming business.

In what ways has being an entrepreneur changed you so far?

  1. Rachel , inspiring words! Much needed for work from home bloggers like me!

  2. It’s true, sometimes I get distracted by a new shiny program promising about a six-figure income and then I get to find out that it requires more work than what I’m actually doing now with my business which is already giving me some sort of an income, just not six figure yet. What I’ve learned about in this journey is that consistency goes a long way. If you’re consistent enough, you will move forward steadily. So when I feel like getting overwhelmed, instead of paying attention to some other shiny new programs, I take a break and comes back happier and more energized to keep moving forward.

Oh by the way, what plugin are you using for your social shares? The one that says “Flares” on the side? They are so cute! Can you let me know what plugin is that? Thank you!

  3. Hi Rachel,

You said, “If you stay the course, the entrepreneurial journey is its own adventure of becoming.” That sounds a lot like what my mentors tell me. “Be here a year from now.” In other words, stay plugged in, participate, do the work, and a year from now you will look back and see your progress. It’s not always easy to enjoy the journey, but it’s a lot more pleasant when we relax and learn to do just that.
