12 Days to Get Your Online Biz Booming: Day 4

believe-you-can-finishThere is one critical component that all successful business owners share. It is the biggest secret of those who have created thriving and profitable businesses. It is not a fancy education, numerous acronyms after their name, or a higher IQ.   It is actually much simpler than that and it is at your disposal right now.  All you have to do is grab onto it.

It is BELIEF.

Belief is the foundation of having the right mindset. And the sooner you believe that your business goals are possible for you, the sooner you can have what it is you desire. Belief alone will not achieve your goals; however, a lack of it will surely sabotage them. Our lack of belief holds us back more than we know.

Our belief holds us back more than any limitation in skill or education. And you must believe it before you can experience it.

FunWork:

Take time to jot down why you believe you will succeed as an entrepreneur. What skills do you bring to the table? How can you serve others? What problems do you solve for others?

  1. Hello Rachel. I think you’re spot on. Often fears can make us doubt our ability and our belief can slip away. It’s so important to stay strong and remember why we started what we’re doing in the first place: because we believed in it. Many thanks. Robert

    • You mention a good point Robert: remember why. Sometimes we just need to think about why we set that goal in the first place. Remember why it is important to us to accomplish that goal. That vision and desire that was inside of us when we first set the goal will spark our motivation and cause us to persist even when fear is staring us down.

  2. Rachael as always I love coming to your blog. Belief is a huge part of success. I learned that the hard way. It took me a long time to believe in myself and my abilities.
Now, I am having fun and really enjoy teaching others how to build their business online.
Keep posting and sharing. Are you ready for the holiday season?

  3. Rachel, Recently I held a few meetups and one person was running around to astrologers, angel readings, connecting with the other side, Myers-Briggs typology – anything and everything to get a simple formula to follow, a simple answer to having a relationship that ended. This person wanted to be so sure that the next relationship would be with the "perfect" partner that matched in every way that he left out one important ingredient – looking at himself, his part in the relationship problems and what he could do about it. He believed in all the outward stuff as the solutions to his problem. He did not believe he had the power within himself. And he actually said to me "soon we will no longer need therapy," as if angel readings or astrology could somehow magically create perfect relationships. We have to begin by believing in our own self – and reaching out for help to assist us when we get stuck. Warmly, Dr. Erica

    • Thanks for adding that Erica. It seems that so man of us forget the great truth about self. He has the light inside that is ready for love but was undiscovered because he kept looking outside of himself. Have a Merry Christmas!

  4. Hi Rachel,

You are spot on with this. We need to truly have belief! That is like the engine that runs a car. Our “Inner Engine” that keeps us going no matter what! When we have belief, we are more persistent with our business.

    Thanks for this tip!

  5. Hello Rachel, Awesome artcile my friend! I do know that without belief nothing is going to happen. You do need to believe in yourself as well as what you are doing.. HELLO If you don’t believe then how do you expect others to join to you…

    Thanks for sharing.. Chery :))

  6. Hi Rachel,
yes, belief is a very important component.
For me developing the belief in myself means also becoming aware of any unconscious beliefs.
Some people may call this navel gazing, well anything that is unresolved can lead to our new attempts to dissolve.

Thank you for sharing your suggestions!
    Cheers,
